Ecology and sustainability are a long-term commitment for Sedleck&yacute; kaolin. In 2024, we focused particularly on mine water treatment and the preparation of projects that will continue into 2025.
Our goal is to complete the redesign of the mine water cycle in our main quarries and to launch a system of natural treatment, which we are working on intensively. This step will significantly contribute to environmental protection and responsible water management.
Another highlight is the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (FVE) with a capacity of 1 MWh. The green energy produced will primarily supply our main plant in Božičany.
