We participate in the sports expansion and we actively support various cultural events in the region.
KVIFF
We are a long-term official partner of the golf tournament within the Karlovy Vary IFF, which takes place every year on one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Czech Republic.
City triathlon
Since 2012, we have been supporting the triathlon in Karlovy Vary, which under the leadership of the City Triathlon has been able to host the ITU World Cup for men and women in Karlovy Vary since 2017.
Volleyball club
Since the 2015/2016 season, we have been supporting Volleyball club Karlovy Vary region, which is applying for the European CEV Cup in 2015 and is also at the forefront of the extra-league table in the following seasons.
4 years since the club was founded in the 2017/2018 season, he wins the Extraliga title. Since the 2016/2017 season, a Summer Volleyball Camp has been organized for children and young people in the age range of 5 - 19 years.
VARY GOOD FEST
The 12th year of the Vary Good Fest music festival starts again this year and we will be there. We also live by music and actively support music events and festivals in the region.
Opening of the spa season
We are the main partner of the annual opening ceremony of the spa season in Karlovy Vary and we have supported on a long-term basis various events organized by the City of Karlovy Vary.
HC Energie Karlovy Vary
We support Karlovy Vary hockey and the legendary mascot Elektra. We are a proud partner of the extraliga hockey in our region, because we believe that hard work and team spirit lead to victory on the ice and in the industry.
LK Pernink
We support Czech skiing pioneers from the Ore Mountains slopes. The traditional ski club from Pernink brings up generations of talent and we are happy to be involved in the development of winter sports directly in the heart of our mountains.
Rock in Roll
We are part of the local culture at the popular local festival. Support for the region means for us also support for entertainment and community, and that is why we regularly help with the implementation of this unique music celebration.
FC Slavia Karlovy Vary
We stand behind the football tradition in the regional city. We support the development of local football from youth to adults, because sports activity is the basis of a healthy region.
Gejzír Park Tennis Club
Partnership with the oldest tennis area in Karlovy Vary. We connect our name with a place where sports history meets active relaxation in the beautiful environment of the spa town.

We support the Czech musical and theatre scene. Culture cultivates society, and therefore we are expanding our partnership to the world of art, which brings joy to audiences across generations.
Public competition of the Karlovy Vary region for 2017
The company Sedlecký kaolin a.s. in Božičany participated in a public tender announced by the Karlovy Vary Region for 2017 in research, experimental development and innovations, for the Competitiveness Development Program of the Karlovy Vary Region, grant title 1 innovation vouchers. The company succeeded with the submitted project focused on the research of the use of flocculants based on polyacrylamides in an acidic environment doped with high-strength ions. In cooperation with the Brno University of Technology, it was discovered and verified that flocculants based on polyacrylamides can be used as advantage during the transition to acid washing. Reference laboratory washing and flocculations according to the existing technology were also successfully performed in comparison with washing in an acidic environment and a new dispersant and polyacrylamide flocculants. The results of the project are described in detail in the research report.
This successful project was supported by a grant from the Karlovy Vary Region.
